Okay, I'm just gonna say it outright: I DON'T SEE THE POINT OF SMOKING OR DRUGS.
 
I can hear you all now: "It's my life! I can do all the drugs I want!"
I'm not saying that no one should. Well, yes I am, but whatever.
I see countless photos of people smoking on tumblr and on here, and it really makes me sad. In my opinion, smoking doesn't make you look older, smarter or more original.
Oh, yeah, this person is so sexy and hipster cuz they're smoking oh my god so cool.

Old men, fat 50-year-old women, and scene kids all do it. It stinks up your breath, stains your teeth, and gives you wrinkles.
 
And as for marijuana... everyone says "it's natural, it's a plant, it's creative to get high" but it is NOT HEALTHY, and there's no getting around it. "impairs judgment, which can lead to risky decision-making on issues like sex, criminal activity, or riding in a car with someone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol."
 
I realize that sounds really stupid and formal, so I'll tell you the real reason I hate marijuana.
I always see stoners on here saying things like "stupid people annoy me" and talking about all the sophisticated literature they've read. Well, here's a news-flash for you: WEED ALTERS YOUR STATE OF MIND. It makes you stupid! I don't know if all you stoners have ever been around high people while sober, but they're pretty hilarious. In an insulting way. That's what you're like to everyone else.
Weed doesn't make you more hipster, it makes you more unoriginal. I mean, you can't think of anything better to do than drink and do drugs? What about all the musicians and artists you supposedly appreciate? I bet their best work wasn't done while passed out on the floor in a puddle of their own puke.
Oh, and it makes you hungry all the time. That's why most stoners end up fat. js.
 
What I'm trying to say is that smoking, drinking, and doing drugs may seem cool to you, but being indie is about being different, not about trying to be popular.
